Zoeva Classic Brush Set

I have wanted a set of the Zoeva brushes for the longest time, they were even on my letter to Santa last year. I've heard such incredible things so you can only imagine the level of excitement when unwrapping these bad boys on my birthday!

Everything you have heard is true, they are soft, they apply product seamlessly and they are great value for money. At €60, they work out at about £7.50 a brush, cheaper than the Real Techniques and better quality too. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of the Real Techniques brushes, I own enough of them, but these Zoeva ones are that little bit softer and lightweight.

The handle's are smaller than average so they're great to travel with, plus all sets come with a brush bag which is a huge bonus if you have nowhere to store them or do actually travel a lot! Neither of which apply to me, however, I'm sure it will come in useful when I do next travel.

There are lots of sets to choose from, the Classic brush set, though, is a great all-rounder. It'd be a great gift for someone who's just getting into make-up because it has all the basics. Well, I'd probably trade the Wing Liner brush for a powder brush to be honest but you can't win everything!

This set has some really great dupes for some really great brushes that you've probably heard of before. The stippling brush is very similar to the Real Techniques version, same as the Luxe Highlighter is a pretty good match to the Real Techniques Contour Brush. The Concealer brush is fairly similar to Sephora's Small Concealer brush, just with slightly smaller bristles. And the Luxe Pencil brush is an exact match to MAC's 219, as well as the Luxe Crease to MAC's 221 and the Luxe Soft Definer to MAC's 217. It gives you an idea of how good of a bargain the Zoeva brushes are, those three MAC brushes alone are more expensive that this entire set! Praise to whoever answered my prayers and sent it my way. I'll update you in a couple months when I've washed them a few times and see if they still live up to the hype.

Love always,
Melissa
